Despite the ease of live wedding streaming, many couples still are hesitant to go this route. Here are some tips for live-streaming your big day. If you want to save time and money, you can use Skype or another platform. If your wedding is for a smaller group, Skype is a great option. It’s free and allows up to 50 viewers. Unlike other options, this one is not ideal for large-scale events where a lot of people may be missing out.

Streaming a Wedding

First of all, you’ll need a reliable and fast internet connection to stream your wedding ceremony. To check your venue’s internet connection, you can try out different streaming software. You can also test the speed and reliability of the internet connection at the venue. Generally, a 30 minute video stream will consume more than 1GB of data. For outdoor weddings, you can use cellular data or a hotspot. If your venue doesn’t offer wireless Internet, you can use an iPad to access a hotspot or use mobile data.

If you don’t have a videographer, you can hire someone to run a livestream for you. You’ll need to make sure that you have high-speed internet and a tripod to prevent jogging of your camera. You can also borrow equipment from friends or hire a professional to run a livestream. If you don’t have these resources, you can always hire a friend or family member to do it for you.
